Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Services Support Specialist to join our clinical team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be supporting referral processing including but not limited to: data entry, case registration, case intake and client job queue monitoring for all new case management business.

Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ideally a background in workers' compensation. This role requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as work efficiently in multiple systems.

Location: Remote (Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone)

Shifts: Monday through Friday, rotating between:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST
Compensation: $19.75 - $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Access customer systems to extract referral information and input it into designated formsCreate cases for workers' compensation case managersUpdate customer systems with assigned case manager informationMake outbound calls to obtain pertinent informationMay process referrals based on priority Provide administrative support, including data entry and document verificationCommunicate effectively with providers and clients via phone and emailProcess high-volume, transaction-oriented assignments efficientlyAdhere to contractual guidelines and company policies
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred1+ years of experience in workers' compensation, medical services, insurance, or related field requiredStrong data entry skills requiredMust be comfortable working with multiple system applications simultaneously - i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PDF viewer, and Data Entry SystemsDemonstrated history of working in a fast-paced, customer service environment with a professional demeanorAbility to work with highly confident information Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with medical terminologyBackground in claims processing or medical billingKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy practices

Reliable high-speed internet connectionQuiet, dedicated workspace for taking callsComputer that meets company specifications (details to be provided)
