Responsibilities
Summary:
The Senior Product Manager - Services & Solutions is responsible for leading and managing the full product lifecycle for Bound Tree Medical business through key marketing and communication strategies that support revenue growth and business objectives for Sarnova's Emergency Preparedness business unit. The Senior Product Manager will work to develop and enhance new and existing tools and processes and serve as a mentor for other Product Managers. The Senior Product Manager will supervise an Associate Product Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Forecast, track and adjust profit and loss statements to ensure that new product and/ or channel launches meet financial goals. Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking and management of revenue, COGS, and marketing spendDevelop, present and implement portfolio business plans for assigned product portfolio and market channels including management of pricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, and product positioningCreate, execute and manage Sarnova marketing programs and materials to include online initiatives, advertising, sales force support materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier marketing programsDevelop and manage messaging strategies for new products and channelsDrive messaging integration by collaborating with Marketing and Sales to instill a passion for product; establish and own the relationship with product manufacturerEnhance existing marketing processes and develop new tools and programs to accelerate profitable revenue of the Bound Tree Medical business; complete special projects and ad hoc requests as neededManage external relationships with vendors to ensure common vision and strategyWork with private label and branded counterparts to identify consolidation and sourcing opportunities that ensure product/component availability and improve portfolio profitability; consult with vendors to identify product opportunities and manage product pipeline; act as liaison to vendors throughout product life cycleNegotiate and maintain product sourcing and distribution agreements with vendor partnersCollaborate with vendor partners, Sales, and customers to vet and launch new productsUtilize sales data, market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and markets to support the expansion of new products and channels that drive new revenue streams and build brand equity; direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growthSupervision of one to two Associate Product Mangers along with providing guidance to other Product Managers on marketing and communication strategiesFoster a positive work environment and resolve conflictsSet performance goals, conduct reviews and provide constructive feedbackMentor and train employees to enhance their skills and career growthAdditional job duties as assigned
Skills/Experience Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related fieldMinimum of 7-10 years marketing experience in positions with product/category management, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing and communication strategiesExperience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry desiredUnderstanding of new product launch processes, product extensions coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mind setExperience with large project planning and project management and the ability to lead project teams and influence functions outside of the marketing teamExperience with vendor contracts and supplier managementStrong business acumen with ability to plan and forecast on a national level and by product categoryAdvance planning capabilities including exceptional financial and data analytic skillsExperience working with and directing creative strategies and tacticsStrong people leadership experienceSolid communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levelsExceptional project management skills with a detail orientationComputer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite and CRMDemonstrated positive energy to effectively represent products/brand internally and externallyAbility to independently manage all aspects of the job role including required goals and business practices in a remote environment
