Overview
Posts positions in applicant tracking system (iCIMS). Creates assessments during posting process to build efficiency in screening. Places advertising, as directed by Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Talent Acquisition Partners.Supports Talent Acquisition team members with administrative tasks and recruitment activities such as outreach, gathering information or data, preparing written documents, scheduling phone screens, communicating updates to candidates or hiring managers. Under the direction of Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Senior/Talent Acquisition Partner, provides assistance to hiring managers in the recruitment process by prescreening applicants, updating candidates' statuses in the applicant tracking system, creating offer letters. Supports the administration of pathway programs for recruiting. Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, and mentoring of Senior Talent Acquisition Partners, manages a small requisition load of entry level positions. They manage phases of the recruitment process and ensure alignment with the law, collectively bargained provisions and organizational policies and procedures to assure qualified candidates are provided to the hiring manager timely, to include applicant screening, conducting phone screens, confirming qualified candidate pool, updating iCIMS statuses, communicating with candidates. With insight of Talent Acquisition Partners and Talent Acquisition Supervisor, provides information on tactics for diversity recruitment. Responds to, or triages, candidate inquiries by providing information and support. Consults with Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Talent Acquisition Partner on complex inquiries or issues. Serves as a resource to hiring managers and provides information recruitment process, hiring practices, pre-hire activities. These inquiries may be via shared mailboxes or ticketing system.Actively participates in the development and deployment of recruitment and hiring events. Assists with tracking events (previously attended and upcoming). Events include career fairs, community partner events, school sponsored recruiting events, OHSU-hosted recruitment and hiring events, in person and virtually. Documents outcomes of events, ie. attendance, return on investment. Assists in preparing materials, signs, banners; transporting items to and from event; coordinating attendance from hiring authorities for job-specific events. Supports training and coaching to hiring managers and their administrative support staff to ensure smooth workflows and alignment with OHSU policies and procedures. Assists with the documentation of processes; participates in the implementation of procedures and processes for the efficient delivery of services to all stakeholders. Completes assigned projects. Provides training in support of project implementation. Updates recruitment related items on the OHSU intranet under the direction of Talent Acquisition Supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 3 years of Human Resources recruitment and/or staffing experience which included providing recruitment support, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Demonstrated experience using a variety of software applications, ie. Microsoft suite, conferencing and collaboration platforms. Experience using applicant tracking systems and HRIS to support HR recruitment and hiring processes. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws that pertain to recruitment and hiring. Awareness and understanding of industry-related regulations. Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals from a variety of professional, cultural and educational backgrounds and at levels in an organization. Expert-level and attentive customer service skills, both in person and via phone. Effective, clear, and culturally aware written and verbal communication. Strong critical thinking skills. Tolerance for, and ability to manage ambiguity. Demonstrated ability to self-prioritize work and adapt to changing needs. Flexibility to meet workflow demands and try new ways of doing things. Qualifications
