Job Overview
The Regional Site Dental Director leads, manages, mentors, and supervises Site Dental Directors for an assigned Region and provides comprehensive, coordinated, primary, and preventive Dental Care in a Clinical setting and/or Tele-Dental Services, to a diverse & underserved patient population. In performing this work, the Director ensures execution of assuring access to high quality, affordable, and caring health care for all. The Director participates in various Dental Leadership committees and meetings. The Director is responsible for the overall operations of their assigned region, including clinical patient care, quality/safety, patient experience, team engagement, and financial sustainability. On average, the Director spends 60% of their time on Administrative Duties and 40% of their time on Direct Patient Care as a Dentist.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of Dentistry.
Dentist with a current, active unrestricted CA license to practice Dentistry by the Dental Board of California and a DEA License required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience Managing/Leading a Dental Team/Clinic in a Community Health Care setting (FQHC) is required.
Experience with computer-based systems is required; Electronic Dental Records experience is required.
Education, training, and experience are necessary to meet the underwritten requirements for inclusion under AltaMed's malpractice insurance coverage.
Current BLS certificate required.
Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
Compensation
$233,259.52 - $291,574.40 annually
