POSITION SUMMARY
The Director II coordinates and integrates services within the continuum, maintains accountability for professional standards and oversees clinical supervision. The Senior Director Clinical develops and implements policies, determines clinical staff qualifications, efficiently deploys resources and oversees training needs. This position is also responsible for agency-wide clinical performance improvement projects, meeting budget projections and assuring client satisfaction. Maintains an indirect and supportive relationship with Medical Director. Senior Director is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to meet goals for Best Quality, Best Customer Service, Best Community Health, Best People/Workplace and Best Financial Performance.

Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values. Coordinates and integrates clinical services within the Behavioral Health continuum and facilitates integration within AtlantiCare Health System. Participates in the establishment of Behavioral Health Clinical Performance Improvement Plan and assures its execution in conjunction with leadership Participates in developing a business plan for Behavioral Health that is consistent with the organization's clinical goals and objectives. Maintains accountability for professional standards of practice throughout assigned programs Oversees the provision of clinical supervision for all licensed and unlicensed providers throughout assigned programs Participates in staff development activities to improve job knowledge and skill development. Directly supervises clinical directors. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of clinical services. Participates in determining the qualifications and competence of clinical staff. Monitors and approves programs and services to meet consumer needs. Assures compliance will all mandated regulations and voluntary accreditation standards. Assures access to services through effective deployment of resources. Promotes a safe environment of care as defined by regulatory standards (i.e. JC). Manages the appropriate submission and review of incident reports. Oversees Behavioral Health participation in, and compliance with, organization-wide PI activities and Customer Service Excellence Campaign. Assures there are sufficient staff to participate in performance improvement activities. Responsible for meeting or exceeding FY budgeted operating revenue and expense targets and contracted/budgeted volume of service. Complies with financial reporting requirements (e.g. payroll, accounts payable). Attends 90% of all scheduled management meetings. Actively participates in organization-wide committees as assigned. Demonstrates accessibility and responsiveness to other team members. Liaison contact with DMHAS/DCPP/other funding regulatory sources in relation to clinical personnel service contracts. Coordinates with Medical Director to support the provision of medical services to ABH clients. QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in behavioral health field, Business Administration, Health Care Administration Public Health or related field required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: License/Certification: Must possess a valid and current NJ license to practice as an LCSW or LPC. LCADC Preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Strong background of oversight responsibility for staff, budget, program deployment, and/or project management required. Excellent planning, execution skills, ability to manage and support staff and a high comfort level managing diverse responsibility required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone.
