Overview
Collaborate with Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Talent Acquisition leadership and Hiring Managers to understand talent requirements and develop sourcing strategies tailored to the role to recruit diverse talent. Provide timely updates and insights on candidate pipelines, market trends and recruitment metrics. Utilize various sourcing techniques, including but not limited to online sourcing, social media recruiting, networking, and direct sourcing, to identify and attract passive candidates. Conduct thorough candidate research and market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and talent landscapes. Screen resumes and profiles to assess candidate qualifications, skills and experience for specific roles. Attend meetings with Talent Acquisition Partners/Leadership as a subject matter expert with Hiring Managers for hard-to-find skillsets on market availability, reinforcing the message for urgency in moving qualified candidates through the process. Engage with potential candidates through personalized outreach, email communication, and messaging to establish relationships and promote our employer brand. Develop networks for various roles including senior leadership, hard to fill and other identified high-profile roles. Measures their performance against key performance indicators metrics and benchmarks. Tracks and reports on sourcing activities and outcomes. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years' experience functioning as a sourcing specialist or similar role in Talent Acquisition. Expert level demonstrated experience in sourcing techniques and tools, Boolean searches, Linked In Recruiter and other platforms. Experience sourcing candidates for senior leadership roles and highly specialized, hard to fill roles, using progressive search techniques. Expert evaluation skills to effectively screen applicants against job needs. Demonstrated skills in developing networks of talent and pipelines. Knowledge of emerging recruitment and sourcing technologies and sharing of best practices to optimize sourcing efforts and stay competitive in talent acquisition. Advanced proficiency in the use of CRMS, applicant tracking systems, and aptitude for database mining in available systems. Investigate/evaluate new sourcing avenues Lead planning/participation in external relationship building, outreach efforts and job fairs as needed. Regular communication of status of searches with recruitment staff and leadership on a consistent and timely basis. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, rules, and regulations, especially those that apply to talent acquisition. Ability to independently prioritize and consistently meeting due dates and deadlines. Responds appropriately to urgent or time sensitive matters. Ability to determine when to escalate matters to supervisor and/or manager. Demonstrated ability to be patient, calm and communicate thoughtfully and respectfully in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Illustrates the skill and competency in being guided by emotional intelligence. Collaborative and supportive interpersonal style with customers and coworkers. Qualifications
Academic medical center experience. Higher education experience. Corporate recruiting experience. Experience sourcing specialized healthcare talent for large hospitals or medical facilities. Sourcing Certification: Certified People Sourcing Professional (CPSP-A), AIRS Certified Social and New Media Recruiter (CSMR), Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)- or similar certification preferred.
