Position Overview:

Ayers Saint Gross is seeking an experienced Academic Health Science Programming/Project Manager. The candidate will work closely with the Architecture and Planning department serving as a health science subject matter expert. The ideal candidate must have excellent project management skills with experience in planning and/or architecture for higher education health sciences projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and facilitate measurable data collection and space metrics ranging from high level planning assumptions to detailed space programming.Develop content for the project and/or provide thought leadership in a topic related to the project. Determine the 'story' and oversee and guide the final content and production.Lead client presentations; co-presents with PIC. Provide quality control to oversee consistency and accuracy of deliverables, information graphics, final report, etc.As day-to-day contact for the client, exhibit professional acumen to cultivate internal team and external client relationships.Responsible for developing and maintaining the process and schedule of the project for internal and external teams, including directing and coordinating subconsultant scope of work.Responsible for Deltek updates, billing for the project, and overall project finances.Share and market ASG work through conference attendance and speaking engagements.Desire to mentor and build a team.Lead project plan and be POC for project finances.Liaise with marketing and PIC to produce project narrative and project approach language for pursuits; provide strategic support for interview presentations and assist with preparation.Requirements:Professional degree in Architecture preferred.10+ years of experience in academic health science education programming and planning.Ability to maintain and grow knowledge and subject matter expertise in health education labs and learning environments, planning principles, and trends. Attend conferences, do self-guided learning, learn firm projects and precedents.Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Autodesk Revit and CAD, Sketchup, Rhino and/or 3D Studio Max.Exceptional graphic communication abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Implement strong design thinking to guide and oversee work.Self-starter and high achiever eager to learn and evolve thinking.Problem solver with experience solving complex challenges.Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to collaborate with large teams as well as work independently. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Capacity for regular project-related and inter-office travel.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-120,000 annually. The actual salary offered for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate's qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
