Overview
This position helps support clinic patients through telephone triage and symptom management.
Must be able to deal with competing needs and priorities of internal and external customers, including making correct judgments regarding ensuring safe conditions for patients, families, and other personnel. Use of all hospital approved clinical equipment. Significant use of computers, copiers, multi-line phones, and fax.

Responsibilities
Three years of Hematology Oncology nursing experience within the past five yearBSN Graduates: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date.ADN Graduates: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program 30 days before the start date. Associate degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hireCurrent, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse LicenseWashington RN license within 6 months of hireBLS at time of hire from the American Heart Association (AHA) - must not expire during orientationThe RN must have one of the following: Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification orComplete 36 cancer related continuing education nursing contact hours each accreditation cycle, per Commission on CancerMust be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Ambulatory Oncology coordination experience preferredBaccalaureate of Science in Nursing preferred
