Overview
Join our dedicated team at the Unity Bridge Clinic as a Mental Health Provider, where you'll play a vital role in supporting behavioral health patients transitioning from hospital care to outpatient services. In this impactful position, you'll be responsible for interviewing, assessing and evaluating patients and families who present for mental health. providing professional counseling and treatment with the goal of maximizing personal/familial functioning as well as case management, coordinating care across multiple providers, and ensuring continuity of treatment for individuals navigating complex behavioral health needs. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), Master of Social Work, Master in Professional Counseling, Master of Family Therapy degree from a nationally accredited institution, fulfilling the requirements for licensure in the state of Oregon and/or Washington.
Licensure:
Must hold a current valid Oregon and/or Washington License as Psychologist, LCSW, LICSW, LPC, LMHC or LMFT.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical experience or healthcare related field.
Skills:
Ability to diagnose common mental health problems. Able to conduct solution focused interventions. Modalities including ACT, CBT, CBT-I, and psychodynamic psychotherapy are all applicable. Recognizes and advocates for patients regarding behavioral health strategies/interventions.Promotes health behavior change through evaluation, brief intervention and education.Works with multidisciplinary team to help support the patient's health. Coordinates with medical providers and community partners to refer for appropriate mental health therapy.Demonstrates competencies in assessment of emotional, cognitive and behavioral disorders in child, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients (depending upon population served by specific position). Demonstrates competency in assessment of cognitive and psychological problems associated with, and/or exacerbating medical conditions.Experience with working with an interdisciplinary team.Skilled in case conceptualization and consultation.Flexibility and willingness to work at the fast pace of outpatient clinics.
