Overview

Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient working environment;
Shelves: Ensures shelves are undamaged, clean, neat, and properly marked with product information. Helps ensure signage is present and up to dateHousekeeping: Ensures the warehouse is clean, inventory is packaged and labeled properly, and non-stock products are neatly arranged. Ensures pallets, carts, racks are in good working orderFacilities: Ensures facility deficiencies are reported to the Warehouse Manager.Equipment: Provides proper care is used when operating or using equipment and regular maintenance services to equipment are performed, logs and reports deficiencies to management.
Performs functions as necessary to ensure required daily tasks are completed on time, and sufficiently, to meet the customer's needs.

Performs other duties as assigned to ensure day-to-day efficient operation of the Logistics Department supply chain.

Maintains knowledge of, adheres to, and knows the locations for, departmental policy, procedure, safety, and MSDS manuals.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Must be enrolled in or on vacation from or otherwise registered in a high school, college undergraduate program (minimum 6 credit hours), or college or university graduate program (minimum of 4.5 credit hours).Compliance with Code of Conduct, Respect in the workplace and Applicable policies, procedures and agreements related to position, department or OHSU as a whole
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write English and have basic mathematical skills.
Conflict resolution skills and the ability to demonstrate effective time management.
Must be able to maintain compliance with organizational guidelines and policies.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Experience Training or experience providing knowledge of inventory control systems.
Working knowledge of hospital materials management distribution systems.
Medical supply familiarity, knowledge of OHSU systems, and medical terminology are preferred.
