Overview

Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation.

Maintain, restock CDE Operatories as needed. Assist in the hosting of Continuing Dental Education events by the OHSU School of Dentistry, mostly on the weekends and evenings.

Duties may include helping with the registration of the course participants and providing customer service inclusive of hosting duties that involve 3rd parties deliveries and services, preparatory work for hosting the events on nights and weekends, and related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours) Duties to be performed will involve weekends and occasional evenings, and will primarily involve OHSU facilities Ability to lift 25 pounds Currently enrolled in OHSU Dental School Prior Dental Office experience Basic Dental knowledge Experience in customer service Basic knowledge of infection control procedures Basic computer skills Attention to detail
