Communicate with members and health care professionals regarding member eligibility, benefit design, formularies, and coverage requests.
Navigate multiple platforms to research pharmacy claim inquiries, provide utilization management support, implement formulary changes, and test benefit updates.
Assist PBM pharmacists with non-clinical activities including but not limited to collecting claims data, drug pricing, and reporting.
Support PBM pharmacists with pipeline tracking and P&T preparation by gathering basic drug information, tracking policy updates, and organizing documents.
Perform other responsibilities of a PBM technician as assigned.
Responsibilities
High School Diploma, active State of Oregon Pharmacy Technician License AND1 year of pharmacy work experience, or equivalent additional education; ANDCertification from the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board OR National Healthcareer Association. Certification must be maintained.Must possess computer keyboarding skills. Qualifications
