How you will contribute to LifeNet Healths success:

The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for sourcing and negotiating supplies, equipment and services from new and legacy suppliers for LifeNet Health on a global level while ensuring existing Sourcing Policies and requirements are met. Acts as the sourcing engineer for new and legacy global LifeNet Health requirements under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing.

What youll do:
Supplier Development: Ensures construction of solid Supply Chains for high cost/high-risk materials related to LifeNet Health production and research processes. Implement strategy to diversify supply sources and mitigate risks associated with supplier dependency.Process Improvement: Leads LifeNet Health cross-functional Value Analysis teams for supply/supplier shifts and approvals in support of risk mitigation efforts for assigned material categories and services. Identifies savings opportunities: Analyzes current sourcing strategies and identifies areas for cost education and efficiency improvement.Risk Management/Metrics: Provides expertise in a high-risk field relevant to LifeNet Health processes including final product packaging, custom solutions, and complex services. Understands and applies knowledge of manufacturing processes to optimize sourcing strategies and supplier performance. Assists the Global Sourcing Group in High Value/High Risk materials and Project Management as required. Prepares and presents reports on sourcing activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance to Global Sourcing leadershipSupplier Negotiations: Participates as directed in Supplier agreements (pricing tiers, inventory levels, supply chain creation) for direct materials and services as a member of the Global Sourcing Group within the Procurement function
What youll bring (Minimum Requirements):

Bachelors degree in engineering RequiredNo work history required
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
CPSM, Certification from the Institute of Supply ManagementBachelors degree in biomedical, Mechanical Systems, or Industrial EngineeringTwo (2) years of experience sourcing specific categories related to complex LifeNet Health processesOne (1) year of experience in an FDA-based regulated industryOne (1) year of demonstrated experience using an ERP System

Technical Drawings: Ability to understand Technical Drawings.

Salary: $52,363 to $76,484 / annually

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidates qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $57,363 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $76,484 annually (experienced in this role).

* Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
