Overview
The Clinical Research Assistant 2 works closely with all members of the team to ensure all aspects of research visits are complete and documented. This position will primarily assist the Regulatory Coordinator and the Clinical Research Coordinators in various tasks related to the clinical trials, and assist in clinic.
Assisting clinical research coordinators may include: Data EntryScreen potential study participants Request patient imaging and CDs from external sources and upload imaging to databasesSchedule research appointments, check in and room patientsProcess and ship specimensPerform ECGsRetrieve study medications from Research Pharmacy Assisting Regulator Coordinator may include: Monitor the shared regulator emailIdentify and save/file necessary documents and communicationSend reminders to staff to complete CITI trainingRequest updated CVs and licenses from all study staff, PI's and Sub-I's Gather documents and information in preparation for IRB submissions Non-Therapeutic Trials: Coordinate with the PI to screen, enroll and conduct visits with guidance from experienced coordinatorsRequest missing recordsSchedule necessary clinical servicesData extraction Clinic Responsibilities: Assist with checking in and rooming patientsMake outgoing calls to schedule patients for their follow-upsCover incoming phone callsHelp patients with virtual visit setupPlace Zio Patch heart monitors Responsibilities
