Overview

Program Implementation:
Manage delivery of all RL programs in partnership with the RL Programs Co-Directors, including but not limited to: prepping course material packets, managing timelines, program logistics, and communications with trainers, facilitators, and participants. Manage the recruitment and training of RL programs facilitators in partnership with the RELATE Lab Leadership Director, including community engagement; communications and scheduling; refinement of facilitator training program and materials. Attend all RL programming (and any related pre-/post- sessions) to serve as day-of operations support. Lead RL Programs external communications, including but not limited to serving as the program's first point of contact for partners, trainers, facilitators, and participants to answer questions and provide support; build relationships with alumni; manage program alumni databases and tracking interest communities; develop and implement a program alumni communications plan.Provide project management support for the development of new programming with emerging and existing institutional partners.Support the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction of programming in partnership with the RL Programs Co-Directors.
RL Programs Team Management:
Serve as the primary project manager for the RL Programs team, including supporting the development of team goals and strategy, lead management of day-to-day activities, lead development and monitoring of work plans and timelines, manage team meetings, action items, and communications, develop team protocols and processes, create and maintain tracking systems.Manage internal team communications related to workflow, scheduling, and logistics and team project management activities.Manage RL Programs budget in partnership with the RELATE Lab Associate Director, including procurement, invoicing, budget tracking and forecasting. Serve as the primary program contact for interdepartmental and external communications regarding program finances.Provide project management support for the development of non-traditional dissemination products around the impact of RL Programs (e.g., blog posts, infographics, videos, fireside chats, etc.).Support research and evaluation of RL programming, including creating web-based surveys; coordinating and overseeing the tracking process for web-based data submission from participants; and other research support tasks as needed.Coordinate closely with team members across RELATE Lab to deliver RL programs (e.g., research team, community organizing team).
RL Programs Trainer and Facilitator:
Serve as a trainer and/or facilitator for RL Programs, as needed.Track and update program curriculum, including but not limited to participant and facilitator materials, as needed.Model the relational mindset and practices both during the relational leadership sessions, and in pre and post session interactions.

Responsibilities

Master's degree AND (3) years of relevant experience in an academic medical center/higher education setting; OR
Equivalent combination of training and experience; May require specific experience in particular area of research
2+ years of project management experience in an academic or health care setting
Have experienced RLI as a participant, facilitator, or trainer
1+ years of experience with successfully applying Relational Leadership skills/practices (e.g., check-ins, one-to-one relational meetings, public narrative, etc.)
2+ years of experience with large and small group facilitation
Proven record of developing and implementing complex project plans.
Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively in interprofessional teams and independently to advance projects.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, problem solving skills, and working with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of external stakeholders.
Demonstrated success building relationships with individuals across diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Demonstrated ability to navigate conflict through a relational approach to leadership.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including successfully communicating new knowledge to others.
Responds in a timely manner to communications/correspondence that impact team function and/or participant experience.
Must have strong organizational skills and demonstrated excellence in attention to detail; able to perform complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
High level of emotional intelligence, with ability to adapt, shift priorities, and accept perceived failure(s).
Able to give feedback to and receive feedback from team members during critical junctures impacting team performance and team experience
Comfort with ambiguity and emerging programming

Qualifications

Master's degree with major coursework in related field AND five (5) years of relevant professional in an academic medical center/higher education setting experience; OR
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in related field AND seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in an academic medical center/higher education setting
2+ years of experience managing a program in an academic or health care setting
1+ years of experience with public speaking or delivering trainings
1+ years of engagement with the RL Community at OHSU (e.g., RLI program facilitation, training, and/or other collaborations.)
2+ years of experience with mentoring and/or coaching others
1+ years of experience with successfully engaging with diverse sets of stakeholders to engage them in a novel initiative/program
1+ year of experience in grassroots organizing/changemaking
Proven record of developing and implementing complex academic programs.
Knowledge of organizational development, team development, healthcare management, conflict resolution, leadership.
Knowledge of curriculum design.
Knowledge of project management applications, such as Smartsheet.
Knowledge of web-based survey design applications, such as Qualtrics.
